System requirements

macOS: macOS 13 Ventura or later
Mac: Apple silicon or Intel
Permissions: Screen Recording. Microphone and Camera only if you record voice or face.
Network: Not needed to record or edit. Used to download the caption model once, for update checks if you allow them, and for licence activation.

Install

Open the downloaded .dmg file.
Drag MotionShine onto the Applications folder in the window, then eject the disk image.
Open MotionShine from Applications, never from the disk image or Downloads, so macOS keeps its permissions.
When macOS asks, allow Screen Recording in System Settings, Privacy & Security.
