Bleep censor, swear words beeped automatically.

Drop a video or a sound file and the page writes out every word with its time. Common swear words are marked for you; click any other word to add it, or type a list. Each one is covered with the classic 1 kHz beep, with silence, or with the volume dipped, and you get the file back, with a video's picture copied untouched.

Your file is read and written in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

Hear it, mark it, bleep it.

01 / Listen

Every word with its time

Whisper, an open speech model, writes out the recording word by word with when each word starts and ends.

02 / Mark

Swear words found for you

A list of common English swear words (and their usual endings) is marked; click to add or remove any word.

03 / Save

Only the sound changes

Each word gets a beep, silence or a dip with soft edges. A video keeps its picture exactly as it was.

Questions

Good to know.

Which languages does it understand?

Whisper writes out many languages; the swear list is English, and the "also bleep" box works for any word you type.

What if it misses a word?

Click the word in the list to light it, or type it in the box. If a word was written out wrong, widen "extra around each word" so the beep covers it.

Does the video lose quality?

No: the picture is copied as it is. Only the sound is written again.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The speech model runs in your browser after a one-time download.
