01 / Random
From crypto, not Math.random
Each character or word comes from crypto.getRandomValues, with draws that would favour some characters thrown away.
Free tool
Make a password nobody can guess: pick the length and the kinds of characters, or switch to a passphrase of random words that is easier to type and remember. The strength shows in bits, so you can see what each extra character buys. Every password is made in your browser from its secure random generator and is never stored or sent.

How strong is strong
01 / Random
Each character or word comes from crypto.getRandomValues, with draws that would favour some characters thrown away.
02 / Bits
Each bit doubles the guesses needed. A 20-character password from all four kinds is about 130 bits; five EFF words are about 65.
03 / Passphrases
Random words are easier to type on a phone and to remember, and you get length without strange symbols.
Questions
This one is made in your browser and never leaves it. For your most important accounts, a password manager that makes and keeps passwords for you is the best home for them.
Longer is stronger. Each extra character multiplies the guesses needed; the meter shows the bits, and a password manager remembers it for you.
Several random words are long, so they are strong, and they are easier to type and remember than a jumble of symbols.
No. Nothing is saved; close the page and they are gone.
