How do I make a QR code for my WiFi?
Type the network name and password, pick the security type, and save or print the code.
Which security type do I pick?
WPA covers WPA, WPA2 and WPA3, which almost every router uses. WEP is very old. Pick No password for an open network.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Recent phones join from the camera; older Android phones may need a QR app.
What if my network name has special characters?
They are escaped in the code as the WiFi QR format expects.
Is my password safe?
It never leaves this page. Anyone who scans the printed code can join, so put it where you want guests to.
