EAN and UPC
The barcodes on things you buy, with the check digit verified so a misread number is flagged.
Free tool
Point your camera at a barcode, or drop, choose or paste a picture of one, and read it in the browser. It reads the barcodes on products (EAN and UPC), shipping and stock labels (Code 128, Code 39, ITF), QR codes, Data Matrix, PDF417 and Aztec, and several codes in one picture. Turn on batch mode for a stocktake: every scan is listed and counted, ready to save as a spreadsheet.
Scanned
Nothing opens on its own. Product numbers get a button to search the web, links show their address first.
Barcodes are read in your browser. The camera picture never leaves your device.
