Does the webcam test record me?
Only if you press record. The camera picture stays in your browser.
Why can't the browser see my camera or microphone?
Allow access when the browser asks. On a Mac, also check System Settings, Privacy and Security, then Camera or Microphone, and make sure your browser is turned on there.
