Which one to use.
Pick the right converter
Find your file's format on the left of the name and the one you want on the right: MOV to MP4 turns a MOV into an MP4. For video and sound with no matching converter, the video converter and audio converter take most formats.
Which format to choose
For video, MP4 plays almost everywhere. For sound, MP3 is the safe choice and WAV keeps full quality for editing. For pictures, JPG suits photos, PNG suits screenshots and see-through images, and WebP is smallest for websites.

Does converting lose quality?
Changing to a format that compresses more, such as WAV to MP3 or PNG to JPG, loses some detail. Changing the container only, as MOV to MP4 often does, can keep the video as it was.
Are my files uploaded to convert them?
The converters work inside your browser tab, so the file is not uploaded.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no set limit, but very large files need enough memory on your computer.
