Is my video uploaded?

No. It is converted in this tab with your browser, so the file never leaves your computer.

Which formats can I convert?

From MOV, MP4, WebM, MKV and TS, to MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, MP3 or WAV. AVI, WMV and FLV cannot be read in a browser.

Does it lower the quality?

Usually not. When the picture and sound can go into the new file as they are, they are copied with no loss, and the result says so. If not, they are re-encoded, with a small loss.

Which format should I pick?

MP4 for almost everything. MOV for Apple apps that ask for it, WebM for websites, MKV to keep every track as it is, MP3 or WAV for just the sound.

Can I make a GIF?

Yes, with the video to GIF converter, which lets you pick the part, the size and the frame rate.

Which browsers work?

Copying works in current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. When the picture must be re-encoded, use Chrome, Edge or Safari.
