Is my file uploaded?

No. It is converted in this tab with your browser, so the file never leaves your computer. MP3 files are made with a WebAssembly build of the LAME MP3 encoder.

Which formats can I convert?

From MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, FLAC and the sound of MOV, MP4, WebM, MKV and TS videos, to MP3, WAV or OGG.

Which format should I pick?

MP3 to share or play anywhere. WAV for audio editors and apps that ask for uncompressed sound. OGG for games and apps that ask for it.

Does it lower the quality?

Turning one compressed format into another loses a little. WAV keeps the sound as it is now, with nothing more lost.

Can I cut the sound too?

Yes, with the audio cutter, which also adds a fade in and out.

Which browsers work?

MP3 and WAV work in current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. OGG needs Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
