Reaction time test, wait for green.

Click the box to start. When it turns from red to green, click (or press Space) as fast as you can. After five rounds you get your average and your best round in milliseconds. The wait is random, so you cannot time it, and clicking before green counts as too soon. Your screen and mouse add a little delay of their own, so compare results on the same setup.

Space or Enter work too. Your best average is kept in this browser.

    Results stay in your browser.

    How it measures

    From green to your click.

    01 / Random wait

    1.5 to 5 seconds

The wait comes from your browser's secure random generator, so there is no rhythm to guess.

    02 / Timing

    From the green frame

The clock starts on the frame that shows green and stops at the moment your press arrives, using the browser's precise timer.

    03 / Your setup

    Screens add delay

Monitor refresh and the mouse or keyboard add their own few milliseconds, so the result is you plus your devices.

    Questions

    Good to know.

    How does the test work?

Click to start, wait while the box is red, and click the moment it turns green. Five rounds make an average.

What happens if I click too early?

The round shows Too soon and you click to try it again; it does not count.

Why are my times different on another computer?

Screens, mice and keyboards each add a little delay, and faster screens show green sooner. Compare scores on the same setup.

    Can I use the keyboard?

Yes. Space or Enter work as well as a click or a tap.

    Is my score saved?

Your best average is kept in this browser only.
