Is my script saved online?
No. It is kept in this browser on your own computer, so you can close the page and find it again, and it is never sent to a server. Clearing your browser data removes it.
How fast should it scroll?
Start with the default and change it until the text moves at the speed you speak. The page counts your words and shows the time at 150 words a minute, which is a common speaking pace, so you can see roughly how long the script runs.
What does mirror the text do?
It flips the text left to right. It is for teleprompter glass, where the reflection reads the right way round. Leave it off when you read from the screen directly.
Can I use it while I record my screen?
Full screen covers the screen you are recording, so put it on a second display, or read it on a phone or tablet beside the camera. MotionShine has speaker notes inside the app: your script scrolls on screen while you record, you can pause it, and it never shows in the video.
Does it work on a phone?
The page works on a phone. Full screen depends on the browser, and on some phones it fills the page instead of the whole screen.
