Questions

Good to know.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The frames are read and saved in this tab, so the file never leaves your computer.

What size are the pictures?

The full size of the video, so a 1920 x 1080 recording gives 1920 x 1080 pictures.

JPG or PNG?

JPG files are smaller. PNG keeps text and sharp edges crisp, which suits screen recordings.

How many frames can I save at once?

Up to 500 in one ZIP. For a long video, pick a longer gap between pictures.

How do I open the ZIP on a Mac?

Double-click it in Finder. It opens into a folder of pictures, numbered in order with their time in the video.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge and Safari. Saving one frame also works in Firefox.
