Questions

Good to know.

What is Markdown?

A simple way to format plain text: # for headings, **double stars** for bold, - for bullets, [text](link) for links. It is used on GitHub, in notes apps, docs and chat.

Is my writing saved?

Yes, in this browser, every time you type. Save a .md file to keep a copy or move it to another computer.

Can I make a PDF?

Press Print or save as PDF and choose Save as PDF in the print window. For more control over the PDF, use Markdown to PDF.

Does it support tables and task lists?

Yes: tables with alignment, task lists with boxes, strikethrough, code blocks and bare links, as on GitHub.

Is it private?

Yes. Nothing is uploaded; it all runs in your browser.
