Where are my notes saved?
In this browser's storage on this device. Another browser, a private window or another computer will not see them. Clearing cookies and site data for this site deletes them.
Can I open my notes on my phone?
Not from here, since nothing goes through a server. Download the note and send it to yourself, or copy it into a notes app that syncs.
How much can I write?
Browsers give each site a few megabytes of storage, which is over a million words of plain text. If it ever fills up, the page says so and you can download your notes.
I deleted a note by mistake.
Press Undo in the message that appears straight after. Once you leave the page, a deleted note cannot be brought back.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. You can keep typing without a connection and the note is still saved in the browser.
