Questions

Good to know.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. They are converted in this tab with your browser, so they never leave your computer.

What is an SVG file?

SVG is a vector image made of shapes, so it stays sharp at any size. Many apps and upload forms only take pixel images such as PNG or JPG.

Why convert to JPG?

JPG is the most widely accepted photo format: small and opened by everything, but with no see-through areas.

Does it lower the quality?

JPG is compressed. At the default quality of 90 percent the change is very hard to see, and you can raise it. See-through parts become white.

Can I convert many at once?

Yes. Drop several pictures together. Download them one by one, or all at once in a ZIP file.

Which width should I pick?

Pick the largest size you will show it at, or twice that for sharp Retina screens. The height follows the shape of the SVG.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Safari works too.
