Questions

Good to know.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. They are converted in this tab with your browser, so they never leave your computer.

What is a WebP file?

WebP is a web image format made by Google. A picture saved from a website is often a WebP, and some apps and upload forms do not accept it.

Why convert to JPG?

JPG is the most widely accepted photo format: small and opened by everything, but with no see-through areas.

Does it lower the quality?

JPG is compressed. At the default quality of 90 percent the change is very hard to see, and you can raise it. See-through parts become white.

Can I convert many at once?

Yes. Drop several pictures together. Download them one by one, or all at once in a ZIP file.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Safari works too.
