As a worked example, 60 days after Monday, October 19, 2026 is Friday, December 18, 2026, which is 8 weeks and 4 days later.

How to use the calculator

1. Read the big card. It shows the date and weekday for the count in Amount and Unit, counted from the date in Count from, which opens on today.

The weekday moves four days

60 is eight weeks and four days: 8 × 7 is 56, and 4 are left over. So the answer is always four weekdays after today's: Monday becomes Friday, Wednesday becomes Sunday and Thursday becomes Monday. If you want exactly eight weeks, that is 56 days, which lands on the same weekday as today. For Monday, October 19, 2026, eight weeks is Monday, December 14, 2026.

60 days is about two months

Two calendar months are between 59 and 62 days long, depending on which months they cover, so 60 days is close but rarely exact. The table starts from the first day of each month in 2026. Where two months are 61 days long, 60 days lands the day before the same date two months on; where they are 59 days, it lands the day after.

Across the year the gap is 59 days for a start in January or February, 61 days for most months, and 62 days for a start on 1 July or 1 December, because those two-month spans hold two 31-day months in a row.

Crossing the end of the year

From 1 November 2026, 60 days later is Thursday, December 31, 2026, the last day of the year. One day later, from 2 November, it is Friday, January 1, 2027. The Place in the year card shows the day number and the ISO week of the answer, so you can see when a count runs into the next year.

Weekends and business days

The cards also say whether the date is a business day, meaning Monday to Friday, and give the next business day on or after it. If the date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the next business day is the Monday after. With the holiday box ticked, the US federal holidays also count as days off. The list follows the US Office of Personnel Management list of federal holidays, checked 19 Oct 2026. For most federal employees a holiday on a Saturday is kept on the Friday before and one on a Sunday on the Monday after, and the calculator does the same. Inauguration Day, which applies to the Washington area every fourth year, is left out. Other countries' holidays are not included; the days between dates page lets you list your own.

As an example, 60 days from Monday, October 26, 2026 is Friday, December 25, 2026, Christmas Day. With the holiday box ticked, the Business day card says No and the next business day is Monday, December 28, 2026.
