Guide
90 days from today is the date you get by adding 90 days to today's date, about a quarter of a year ahead. The calculator above reads your device's clock and shows the date and weekday as soon as the page opens, with the weeks and days, whether it is a business day, and the next business day. As a worked example, 90 days after Monday, October 19, 2026 is Sunday, January 17, 2027, which is 12 weeks and 6 days later.
90 is twelve weeks and six days: 12 × 7 is 84, and 6 are left over. Moving forward six weekdays is the same as moving back one, so the answer falls on the day before today's weekday. Monday becomes Sunday, Friday becomes Thursday and Sunday becomes Saturday. That is why Monday 19 October 2026 leads to a Sunday.
It is easy to treat these as one. Ninety days is exactly 90. Thirteen weeks is exactly 91 days. Three calendar months are 89 to 92 days, depending on the months. The table puts them side by side for seven start dates.
| Start | 90 days later | 3 months later | Days in 3 months | 13 weeks later |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Thu, Jan 1, 2026 | Wed, Apr 1, 2026 | Wed, Apr 1, 2026 | 90 | Thu, Apr 2, 2026 |
| Sat, Jan 31, 2026 | Fri, May 1, 2026 | Thu, Apr 30, 2026 | 89 | Sat, May 2, 2026 |
| Wed, Apr 1, 2026 | Tue, Jun 30, 2026 | Wed, Jul 1, 2026 | 91 | Wed, Jul 1, 2026 |
| Wed, Jul 1, 2026 | Tue, Sep 29, 2026 | Thu, Oct 1, 2026 | 92 | Wed, Sep 30, 2026 |
| Mon, Aug 31, 2026 | Sun, Nov 29, 2026 | Mon, Nov 30, 2026 | 91 | Mon, Nov 30, 2026 |
| Thu, Oct 1, 2026 | Wed, Dec 30, 2026 | Fri, Jan 1, 2027 | 92 | Thu, Dec 31, 2026 |
| Thu, Dec 31, 2026 | Wed, Mar 31, 2027 | Wed, Mar 31, 2027 | 90 | Thu, Apr 1, 2027 |
On 1 January 2026, 90 days and 3 months both give 1 April, because January to March is exactly 90 days in a common year, while 13 weeks gives 2 April. From 31 January, 3 months later is 30 April, which is 89 days, while 90 days gives 1 May. If your source says 3 months, use 3 months from today.
Nearly. The four quarters of a common year have 90, 91, 92 and 92 days. Only the first quarter, January to March, is 90 days long (91 in a leap year). Starting on the first day of each quarter of 2026:
| Quarter starts | 90 days later | Days in that quarter |
|---|---|---|
| Thu, Jan 1, 2026 | Wed, Apr 1, 2026 | 90 |
| Wed, Apr 1, 2026 | Tue, Jun 30, 2026 | 91 |
| Wed, Jul 1, 2026 | Tue, Sep 29, 2026 | 92 |
| Thu, Oct 1, 2026 | Wed, Dec 30, 2026 | 92 |
So 90 days from 1 January is 1 April, the first day of the next quarter, but 90 days from 1 July is 29 September, two days before the quarter ends.
The cards also say whether the date is a business day, meaning Monday to Friday, and give the next business day on or after it. If the date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the next business day is the Monday after. With the holiday box ticked, the US federal holidays also count as days off. The list follows the US Office of Personnel Management list of federal holidays, checked 19 Oct 2026. For most federal employees a holiday on a Saturday is kept on the Friday before and one on a Sunday on the Monday after, and the calculator does the same. Inauguration Day, which applies to the Washington area every fourth year, is left out. Other countries' holidays are not included; the days between dates page lets you list your own.
As an example, 90 days from Tuesday, October 20, 2026 is Monday, January 18, 2027, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. With the holiday box ticked, the Business day card says No and the next business day is Tuesday, January 19, 2027.
Choose Count back for 90 days ago. From Monday, October 19, 2026 that is Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Change Count from to find where any 90 day period began.
This page only does the arithmetic. Notice periods, trial periods, return windows, deadlines in contracts and anything set by law each have their own rules for how days are counted, so check the wording in your own document or on the official page.
For shorter spans, try 30 days from today or 60 days from today. To count the days between two dates, use days between dates.
