Circle crop, round and see-through.

Drop a picture, drag it into place and zoom until the face or logo sits right in the circle. Choose a circle, a rounded square or a plain square, add a coloured ring round the edge if you want one, and save a PNG with see-through corners, ready for a profile picture, a team page or a slide.

The picture is cropped in your browser and never uploaded.

Why see-through

Round on any background.

01 / Corners

Clear, not white

PNG and WebP keep the corners see-through, so the circle sits cleanly on a dark page, a slide or a coloured banner.

02 / Detail

From the original pixels

The crop is drawn again from the full picture, so zooming in does not lose more detail than the picture has.

03 / Ring

A border that fits

A ring in your brand colour makes a profile picture stand out on busy pages.

Questions

Good to know.

How do I crop a picture into a circle?

Drop the picture, drag and zoom until it sits right in the circle, then Download. The PNG has see-through corners.

Why is my circle on a white square?

JPG cannot be see-through, so the corners are filled. Save as PNG or WebP to keep them clear.

What size should a profile picture be?

Most sites shrink profile pictures, so 400 to 1024 pixels square is plenty. Full detail keeps every pixel the crop covers.

Can I make rounded corners instead?

Yes. Choose Rounded and set the roundness, or Square for straight corners.

Is the picture uploaded?

No. It is cropped in your browser.
