Crop a GIF.

Cut an animated GIF down to the part that matters. Drag a box over the first frame, or pick a shape such as square, and every frame is cropped the same way. It runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

The GIF is read and written in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Questions

Good to know.

Is my GIF uploaded?

No. It is read and written in this tab with your browser, so it never leaves your computer.

Does it keep the animation?

Yes. Every frame is cropped to the same box and keeps its timing.

Crop or resize?

Cropping cuts off the edges. Resizing keeps the whole picture and changes its size: use the GIF resizer for that.

Will the GIF get smaller?

Yes, usually, because there are fewer pixels in every frame.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox.
