Free tool

Crop a PDF, trim the margins.

Open a PDF, drag the box over the part you want to keep, or let the tool find the white margins for you. Crop every page the same way or only the page you are looking at. Text stays text, so it remains sharp and searchable.

The PDF is changed in your browser. It is never uploaded.

Questions

Good to know.

Is the cropped part deleted?

No. Cropping sets which part of the page is shown, like a frame, so PDF apps hide the rest. The hidden part is still in the file; to remove sensitive content for real, use Redact PDF.

What does "cut the paper size" do?

It also shrinks the page itself, which some printers and older apps look at instead of the crop box. Tick it if the printout still shows the margins.

Can I crop each page differently?

Choose "Only the page shown", crop and save, then open the saved PDF and do the next page.

Does it lower the quality?

No. Nothing is redrawn, so text and pictures stay as they were.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Everything happens in this browser tab.
