Can I use the backgrounds for anything?
Yes. You make them yourself in this page, so use them in videos, slides, thumbnails or as a desktop picture.
Why add grain?
A little grain hides the stepped bands that smooth gradients can show, especially after a video is compressed.
Which size should I pick?
1920 x 1080 fits most screen recordings and slides. Pick 4K for a sharp desktop picture, and 1080 x 1920 for vertical video.
How do I use it behind a screen recording?
Put the PNG on a track under your recording in a video editor. In MotionShine, backgrounds are built into the editor, so you can pick one there instead.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The picture is drawn and saved in your browser.
