Safe zone checker, nothing hidden.

Drop a vertical video or picture and see which parts can be covered by the app: the profile name and caption at the bottom, the buttons down the side, the edges on tall phones. The zone for Instagram and Facebook Reels and Stories comes from Meta's own ads guide. TikTok and YouTube do not publish theirs as numbers, so for those you set the margins, and the page tells you that plainly.

Your video is checked in your browser and never uploaded.

Where the numbers come from

Official where it exists.

01 / Meta

14% top, 35% bottom, 6% sides

Meta's ads guide for Instagram Reels and Stories asks to keep those edges free of text and logos; 40% at the bottom when a Reels ad carries a disclaimer. Read 17 October 2026.

02 / TikTok

Template files, not numbers

TikTok's Ads Manager help offers downloadable safe zone files, and says the zone changes with caption length. Set the margins to match the one you use.

03 / Shorts

No published zone

YouTube Help does not publish a Shorts safe zone, so the margins start at Meta's numbers for you to adjust.
