Free tool

Add text to a video, titles and labels.

Put a title on the first seconds, a label on a step, or a line of text at the bottom of a clip. Type the text, pick the font, size, colour and background, drag it where it belongs on the video, set when it appears and disappears, and let it fade in and out. Add as many lines as you need, then save an MP4 with the sound kept.

This runs in your browser. Your video is never uploaded.

Questions

Good to know.

Can I add subtitles for the whole video?

For speech, the subtitle generator writes captions from the sound for you. This page is for titles, labels and short lines you type yourself.

Which fonts can I use?

Inter and seven fonts from the logo maker, such as Poppins, Montserrat, Bebas Neue and Pacifico. All are open fonts that are free to use in videos.

Will the text look sharp?

Yes. It is drawn at the full size of the video before encoding, so it is as sharp as the video itself.

Does it keep the sound?

Yes. The sound is copied as it is; only the picture is encoded again.

Is my video uploaded?

No. Every frame is drawn in this browser tab.
