Free tool

Add music to a video.

Put background music under a video or screen recording. Set how loud the music and the original sound are, loop the music to fill the video, and fade it out at the end. It runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

This runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.

The picture is copied and the mixed sound is added. Play it, then download it.

Questions

Good to know.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The music is added in this tab with your browser, so the file never leaves your computer.

Does it lower the picture quality?

No. The picture is copied as it is. Only the sound is new.

How loud should the music be?

Under a voice-over, 20 to 40 percent usually works. With no talking, 80 to 100 percent.

Can I use any song?

You can add any file your browser can play, but you need the right to use the song, especially on YouTube or in ads. Royalty-free music libraries are the safe choice.

What if the music is shorter than the video?

Tick Repeat the music and it starts again from the top until the video ends.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge and Safari.
