Free tool
Small buttons and menus get lost in a full-screen recording. Pause where something happens, click on it, and the video zooms in there with a smooth glide, holds while you explain, then zooms back out, or moves straight to the next spot. Watch it live, fine-tune the times, and save an MP4 with the sound kept. It all runs in this tab, so nothing is uploaded.
New zooms
Motion
Each zoom starts a moment before the click, glides in, holds, and glides out. If the next zoom starts before that, the picture moves straight to it.
Your video is processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
How it works
01 / Open
A screen recording, a demo or any video. It plays here with the zoom shown live.
02 / Click
Pause and click where the eye should go. Set how far to zoom and how long to stay.
03 / Save
Every frame is drawn again with the zoom and saved as an MP4 at the same size, sound kept.
Questions
No. The video is read, drawn again with the zoom and saved in this tab.
A zoom enlarges part of the picture, so 2x on a 1080p video shows about 960 x 540 real pixels. Record at a higher resolution, such as a Retina screen recording, for sharp zooms.
Not here: a video file does not hold your mouse clicks, so you mark them. MotionShine, our free Mac screen recorder, zooms in on every click by itself while you record.
There is no set limit, but every frame is drawn again, so a long video takes a while. The page shows how far it has got; keep the tab open while it works.
Yes. Only the picture changes; the sound is copied as it is.
