Do I need a real green screen?
Yes: this works by colour, so the background must be one even colour, green or blue, lit without strong shadows. For a video with an ordinary room behind you, use remove background from video, which uses AI to find the person.
Why is there still green around my hair?
Raise the tolerance a little, raise the softness for fine edges, and keep "Remove the green glow" on. Wearing green, or a screen with wrinkles and shadows, makes it harder.
Can I get a see-through background?
Not yet: the video is saved as an MP4, which has no transparency. Pick a colour close to where you will place it, or use a picture.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Every frame is processed in this tab, so nothing leaves your computer.
Why does the preview look smaller?
The live preview is drawn at a smaller size so it plays smoothly. The saved video is full size.
