Choose a video
A clip with a person in it: a webcam recording, a talking head or a phone video.
Free tool
Cut a person out of a webcam clip, a talking head or a phone video. Save it see-through, on a green screen for your editor, or on a colour, a picture or a blurred copy of the room. An AI model made for video runs in this tab, so your video is never uploaded. No watermark, no length limit.
This runs in your browser. Your videos are never uploaded.

Every frame goes through the AI on your computer. The page shows how long is left. The sound is kept.
Questions
No. The AI model is downloaded to your browser and every frame is processed there, so the video never leaves your computer. That is also why there is no length limit and no watermark.
One or two people, facing the camera, with their head and shoulders in the picture: webcam clips, interviews, talking heads. The model, MODNet, was made for cutting out people. It is not made for products, pets or cars, which may be cut badly or not at all.
A see-through WebM drops straight onto a web page or another video, and plays see-through in Chrome and Edge. Many video editors cannot read a see-through WebM, so for an editor pick green screen and use its chroma key or keyer to remove the green.
It depends on your computer and the length of the clip, because every frame goes through the AI. Browsers with WebGPU use the graphics card and are much faster than the processor. The page shows the time left while it works. Videos larger than Full HD are made Full HD.
The cut is worked out at about 512 pixels on the short side and then enlarged, and fine hair is hard for any model. A plain, well lit background behind you gives the cleanest edges.
Current Chrome and Edge do everything, including see-through video. Other browsers can save the MP4 options if they can encode H.264, and the page tells you if they cannot.
