Is it really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no limit on invoices, and no watermark or "made with" line on the PDF.
Where are my details kept?
Only in this browser's own storage, so your business details, logo and settings are there next time. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else. If you use a shared computer, clear the form when you are done.
How are tax and discount worked out?
The items are added up first. The discount, a percentage or a fixed amount, comes off that. Tax is then charged on what is left, shipping is added, and anything already paid is taken off to give the amount due.
Can I make a quote or a receipt?
Yes. Change the title to Quote, Estimate, Receipt, Tax invoice or Proforma invoice. For a receipt, put the full total under "Already paid" so the amount due shows zero.
Which languages and currencies work?
45 currencies. The PDF font covers the Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and Vietnamese alphabets; a currency sign it does not have, such as the taka, is written as its code, for example BDT 1,500.00.
Does this replace accounting software?
It makes the invoice document. It does not track who has paid, send reminders or file taxes, and it does not give tax advice. Check what your country requires on an invoice, for example a tax number or the words "Tax invoice".
