Can I use the logo for my business?
Yes. The icons are from Phosphor (MIT license) and the fonts are under the SIL Open Font License, both of which allow commercial use, and nothing on the logo marks it as made here. Brand logos are left out of the icon list on purpose.
Can I trademark it?
The icons and fonts are free for anyone to use, so other businesses can use the same icon or font. A trademark office may not accept a common icon as a distinctive mark. If you plan to register your logo, have a designer make a unique mark, and ask a trademark lawyer.
SVG or PNG?
SVG is made of shapes, so it stays sharp at any size and opens in Figma, Illustrator, Canva and most print shops. The letters are already shapes, so the font does not need to be installed. PNG works everywhere else, with a see-through background if you leave that ticked.
What is the square icon for?
A 512 pixel square with just the mark on your background colour: a profile picture, a favicon or an app icon. With the Name only layout it uses your initials.
