Free tool
Open a PDF and get every photo, logo and picture inside it, at the size it is stored in the file, which is often larger than it looks on the page. Save them one by one or all at once in a ZIP, as PNG or JPG. A picture repeated on many pages is saved once.
Small pictures are often icons, bullets or lines. Change this before opening the PDF.
Pictures are taken out in your browser. The PDF is never uploaded.

Questions
A PDF can crop, scale, recolour or mask a picture when it draws it. This page saves the picture as it is stored, before any of that, so it may show more than the page did, or have no transparency where the page used a mask.
A scanned page is usually one big picture, which this page does find; but charts, diagrams and logos drawn as shapes are not pictures at all. To save how a whole page looks, use PDF to JPG.
No, with PNG: you get every pixel of the stored picture. JPG makes smaller files and is fine for photos.
Only if you have the right to: pictures in a PDF belong to whoever made them. This page just saves what is in a file you already have.
No. Everything happens in this browser tab.
