Questions

Good to know.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. They are converted in this tab with your browser, so they never leave your computer.

What is a JFIF file?

JFIF stands for JPEG File Interchange Format. A .jfif file is a normal JPEG picture with a different ending. Windows sometimes saves pictures from the web with it, and some upload forms and apps then refuse the file.

Does PNG make it look better?

No. PNG keeps every pixel as it is now, so nothing more is lost, but it cannot bring back detail the JPEG already dropped. PNG files are larger. If you only need the file accepted, the JFIF to JPG converter keeps it small.

Can I convert many at once?

Yes. Drop several pictures together. Download them one by one, or all at once in a ZIP file.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
