Stopwatch, with laps.

Press Start, or the space bar, and it counts up to the hundredth of a second. Press Lap for split times: each lap shows its own time and the total, with the fastest and slowest marked. Copy the laps or save them as a spreadsheet file. It keeps counting if you close the tab and come back.

02 / Total

The split

The time since the start when you pressed Lap, often called the split time.

03 / Marked

Fastest and slowest

With three laps or more, the fastest lap shows in green and the slowest in red.

Questions

Good to know.

Does it keep running if I close the tab?

Yes. The start time is kept in this browser, so when you open the page again it shows the right time and carries on. Clearing the browser's site data resets it.

How accurate is it?

It reads the computer's clock rather than counting ticks, so it does not drift when the tab is in the background. The display shows hundredths of a second; your own reaction when pressing the button matters more than that.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The buttons are large enough to tap, and it keeps counting if the phone locks.

Can I open the laps in Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. Download CSV gives each lap's time and total, also in seconds so you can add them up or chart them. Copy laps pastes straight into a sheet as columns.

Is there a countdown timer?

Yes, the online timer counts down with an alarm, and the Pomodoro timer runs work and break rounds.
