Questions

Good to know.

Are my videos uploaded?

No. The clips are joined in this tab with your browser, so they never leave your computer.

Can I join clips of different sizes?

Yes. Every clip is fitted inside the size you pick, with black bars where the shape is different.

Does it keep the sound?

Yes. The sound of each clip plays with its picture. A clip with no sound is silent in the result.

Does merging lower the quality?

Every frame is re-encoded as H.264, so there is a small loss, as with any re-encode. The result plays at 30 frames per second.

Is there a limit?

The result is built in your browser's memory, so very long or very large clips can fail. Trim them first with the video trimmer if they do.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge and Safari, which can encode H.264 video. The file has to be one your browser can play.
